Credit Europe Bank N.V. completes merger process with its subsidiary Credit Europe Bank Romania (S.A.)
The cross-border intragroup merger between Credit Europe Bank N.V. and its Romanian subsidiary Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A. has been successfully completed. With effect from 1 January 2025, Credit Europe Bank operates in Romania as a branch office, under the name Credit Europe Bank N.V. Amsterdam Bucharest Branch.
The completion of the merger is an important milestone in realizing Credit Europe Bank's strategy to enhance its operations by benefiting from shared expertise and common resources within the Group. The transition underlines the bank's commitment to sustainable growth in Romania while enhancing its ability to deliver reliable, customer-focused products and user-friendly financial services.

Credit Europe Bank N.V. (CEB NV) will merge with its subsidiary Credit Europe Bank (Romania) S.A. (CEB Romania), headquartered in Bucharest, Romania, through a cross-border (legal) merger. As a result of this intra-group merger CEB Romania will continue its activities in Romania as a branch office of CEB NV. Its products and services will then be offered under the Dutch banking license of CEB NV. Your deposits held with CEB NV will continue to be covered by the Dutch Deposits Guarantee Scheme (DGS).

Enterprise Singapore partners Credit Europe Bank to help Singapore companies access financing overseas for expansion efforts
Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) and Credit Europe Bank N.V. (CEB) have signed an agreement to enhance access to financing for Singapore companies venturing overseas. This is the first partnership between EnterpriseSG and a foreign-based financial institution.
